Comprehensive Placement Test
The definition of the noun “challenge” at each CEFR level.
A1: Something that is difficult to do.
A2: Something that is hard but helps you learn and grow.
B1: A difficult task or situation that tests your skills or abilities.
B2: A demanding task that requires effort, determination, and problem-solving skills or abilities.
C1: A complex task or situation that pushes someone to use their knowledge, creativity, and resilience to overcome obstacles
Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
The diagram indicates the level of language comprehension that you possess at each level. C1 level is oftentimes the standard needed to study or work in a given language. This is equivalent to a Band 7.0 on the IELTS Exam.
About Me
My name is Hank Leathers, and I am the founder of Leathers English Training. I graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts with a Bachelor’s of Science in Economics and Political Science with a minor in Business Administration. While in the United States, I worked as both a junior accountant, as well as, a real estate investment analyst.
I have found my English business culture insights to be very helpful in preparing my students for real world, business English scenarios. I decided to move to Northern Germany for a new experience, to learn a new language, and to use my skills as a native English speaker to help people more effectively learn English.
Learning a new language opens doors to new relationships, cultures, and business opportunities as I have experienced during my time here in Germany. I am excited and determined to help you achieve the same through English!
